Seussical information and notes - November 1, 2016

Hi students and parents,


Here are some important notes about Seussical.  There will be some additional emails with signups (3 signup emails: one for the GALA, one for parent volunteers and one for luncheon desserts).  Emily will also be sending information about cast shouts outs in the program.

SEUSSICAL TICKETS AND SHOW DATES:

Show dates are Nov 17-18-19-21-22 at 7:00pm with a 1:00pm matinee on Nov 19th for $5 general admission

Reserved seating $8 in advance General seating $9 at the door



FALL GALA - THURSDAY NOVEMBER 17TH
*After the show, we will have appetizers and treats for the Seussical cast members and their families.  Please meet in the LP commons area right after the show to celebrate opening night with our cast.
*You will receive an email sign up (through Signupgenius.com) for parents to help bring food items for the gala.

SEUSSICAL PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
*You will receive an email sign up (through Signupgenius.com) for parents to volunteer to help during the performances.  If every parent is willing to sign up you will only need to do one performance each.  If you don't sign up we will assign you a volunteer position.  We need everyone to help for at least one performance to make the show a success. Thank you in advance for your support!


Positions needed are:
Concessions - 6:15 until after intermission
2 people per show


Tickets - - 6:15 until line dies down, may be 15-20 minutes after show starts

1 person per show to do money

2 people per show to do tickets

2 people per show to take tickets at the door



Backstage security

1 person for the duration of the show (7pm – 9:30) bring a book or something to do backstage


CAST LUNCHEON - NOVEMBER 5TH AND NOVEMBER 12TH
*for the long rehearsals on Nov 5th and Nov 12th, we are providing a lunch for the cast members
*we are looking for some parents who can bring a couple dozen treats (3-4 people on each Saturday)

*You will receive an email sign up (through Signupgenius.com) for parents to volunteer to bring desserts by 11:30am or you can send them with your student.



SEUSSICAL ADVERTISING
*if you or a family member or friend have a business, let us know if you would like to donate and/or place an ad in our color program

*place a SHOUT-OUT in the program for your cast member - let parents, grandparents, friends etc... know!

*ads and shout outs are Due by Monday Nov 7th

As you get any photos please post them on the LP facebook page or send them to Kristen or Stephanie.  Having cast photos worked really well last year and we had a lot of pages shared which generated excitement for the show and ticket sales.
